RETAIL SALE OF PORK
EXTENSION OF PROHIBITION Wellington, Ths Day. The Food Rationing Controller. Mr J. T. Thomas, announced to-night that owing to the shortage of pig meats required for essential demands, the period of pi-ohibition on the retail sale of pork, which was the subject of a restriction order has been extended from 30th September to 30th Octobei*. A further public notice has been issued accordingly.—P.A.
