GIBBS.—At Marton, N. 1., John H. Gibbs, second son of the late Mr and Mrs James Gibbs, early settlers of Church Valley. Wakefield, and brother of Albert Gibbs, Wakefield: aged 91 years.

BROWN.—On 28th September. 1943. at Nelson. Alfred Edward (Ted), beloved husband of the late Emma Brown; aged 75 years.
