BERLIN “LOOKS LIKE BATTLE FIELD”

London, June 11. As a result of R.A.F. raids, Berlin’s West End looks more like a battlefield than a city, according to reports received by the “Daiy Telegraph’s” Stockholm correspondent. Informants say that the worst damage was caused by pnosphorus and other new incendiary bombs, against which sand and water are useless. The authorities are now experimenting with new apparatus, and emergency courses are being rushed through in all big German cities. Mines have also caused damage.
