TEN-YEAR-OLD OFFENCE
Wellington, June 30. Two Hindus, Kuvrgi Bhagvan and Chiba Pancha Patel, who admitted having made false declarations 10 years ago in order to secure the admission to the Dominion of another young Hindu, were each fined £lO by Mr Justice Johnston in the Supreme Court. His Honour remarked that such cases could not be overlooked, but the present case was not one for imprisonment.—P.A.
