MORE CHINESE GAINS
HEAVY JAPANESE LOSSES Chungking, June 30. Chinese troops entered Owchihkow, 40 miles south of Shasi. The Japanese suffered heavy losses and are showing signs of collapse. The Chinese have also retaken many strategic points in the suburbs of Hwajung, where the Japanese defenders are being fiercely atacked.—P.A.
