WAIMEA DAIRY BONUS
INCREASE FOR PAST SEASON PAY-OUT DURING CURRENT MONTH The directors of the Waimea Co-op Dairy Company have decided on a bonus of 2.625 pence per pound butterfat for last season. This will make the total payout 15.9 pence per pound being higher than the previous season when the total was 15.375 d per pound butterfat. The bonus, which amounts to over £IB,OOO, is expected to be paid out during the current month. Owing to increases in the cost of manufacture and collection, particularly the latter, it has not been found possible to pay out the full increase which the war cost allowance was estimated to produce. The annual jneeting of the company will be held shortly.
