FAMOUS U.S. RACEHORSE FOR STUD
New York, June 29. Whirlaway, the greatest money winner in the history of American turf, has been retired to the stud. His owner, Mr Warren Wright, said the horse failed to recover satisfactorily from a leg injury in February. Whirlaway won 561,000 dollars in his four years’ career —P.A.
