CIVILIAN INTERNEES
MALAYAN PRISONERS OF WAR • FURTHER LISTsIsSUED BY RED CROSS The Prisoner of War Enquiry Office has issued through the Red Cross Society further lists of the names of civilian internees from Malaya. The lists which were issued by tho Malayan Government Agency, Sydney, in May. were compiled from reports received by telegraph from the International Red Cross, Tokio, of civilians interned in Changi camp. Singapore, and some others in Malayan camps Two other lists forwarded by the Malayan Government Agency give the names of persons who have either broadcast messages from Saigon or Singapore, or have been mentioned in messages received. The messages were broadcast during February and Marco. All these lists may be inspected at “The Mail" Office.
