NELSON WOMEN’S CLUB

The Nelson Women’s Club held a social afternoon for funds for the Great St- Ormond’s Hospital for Children, London, which is greatly in need of funds as it has been bombed several times. The play “Five Birds in a Cage” was read and .the musical circle sang several glees. Mr C. Milner addressed the gathering on the 3rd Liberty Loan. Mrs S. A. Gibbs, president of the club, thanked him and later announced that the club would invest £SO in the Loan.
