NEGRO DIES AT 109
New York, June 26. A message from Clearwater, Florida, says the death has occurred of Roily Payne, a negro, aged 109. Payne was a servant of Abraham Lincoln, and claimed also to have worked for Presidents Grant and McKinley. He was a son of an African Methodist Minister.—P.A.
