INCLUSION OF ONE TOWN WANTED
TELEGRAM TO PRIME MINISTER The Nelson-Marlborough-West Coast League of Local Bodies’ executive this morning sent the following telegram the Prime Minister (Mr Fraser): , « “The Nelson-Marlborough-West Coast League of Local Bodies ' strongly urges inclusion of one town * in its area in General Freyberg’s \ itinerary. Unable to accept reason about exclusion. Nelson is biggest * town omitted and we feel It is an- * other example of that neglect which • League has b£en formed to combat. « The General could fly from any one of the towns in the League’s area to Wellington in a matter of minutes.”
