OBITUARY
DR. JAMES FITZGERALD Dunedin, This Day. The death occurred yesterday in his eighty-second year of Dr. James Fitzgerald, who for many years was one of the best-known medical men in Dunedin. At the time of his death he was the oldest practising physician in the Dominion. In his younger days he was an enthusiastic Rugby footballer and played for Otago University in the first match against Canterbury College. He gave service for many years as a member of Otago University Council. Three of his sons are in the medica/ profession.—P.A.
