BRITISH GENERAL ELECTION
NEW ARRANGEMENTS FORESHADOWED (Rec. 11.20 a.m.) Rugby, June 24. A Bill foreshadowed by an announcement of the Home Secretary, Mr Herbert Morrison, in the House of Commons, for the compilation of a register, which will allow members of the armed forces to vote by post or proxy when a general election is held after the war, and which could be used in by-elec-tions, is stated to be in the hands of Government draughtsmen.
