PLAQUES PRESENTED TO U.S.A.A F. FIGHTERS (Rec. 11.0 a.m.) Rugby, June 24. Three plaques commemorating the part played by the American Eagle Squadron in the R.A.F., were presented by the Duchess of Kent to the commanders of three United States Army Eighth Air Force fighter squadrons, members of which formerly served with the R.A.F. She serves with the Air Transport Auxiliary, delivering planes from factories to airfields.
