A NELSON CHRONOLOGY 25th June, 1843: We sailed to Port Underwood and took on board the wounded men whom w e found there on Wednesday last <2lst). Crawford, Burnett, Gapper and Smith. We also took on board George Bampton who escaped to Port Underwood after being without food for three days. —Barnicoat’s Diary.
