TO-DAY'S WEATHER FORECAST
FEW SHOWERS TO-MORROW Wellington, This Day. The indications are for moderate variable winds with south-westerly freshening to-morrow, weather mainly fair, but a brief period of showers to-morrow, temperatures cool with frosts to-night. The further outlook is for fair conditions. Thoughts of the nine successive rainy days just experienced were thrust hastily into the background when Nelsonians awoke this morning to fine clear skies and indications for a fine, bright day. The weather during the morning was sunny with only a very light northerly breeze. Fresh falls of snow on the ranges during the past few days made the air keen, the temperature recorded at the Cawthron Institute at 9.30 this morning being 43.3 degrees. The lowest overnight temperature was 33.4 degrees. Yesterday’s total of .14 of an inch of rain, brought the rainfall for the month to date up to 6.36 inches. There was no work for the sunshine recorder in Nelson yesterday.
