TRADE OF MINOR PORTS
Wellington, June 22. “Centralisation of shipping in the interests of quick despatch is already showing its effect on some of the minor ports,” states the annual report of the Marine Department for the year ended 31st March, which was presented in the House of Representatives. “Consideration is being given to the matter ol financial asistance where necessary,” adds the report. -
