LACK OF GAS IN AUCKLAND
Auckland, June 21. Users of gas in the city suffered considerable inconvenience during the week-end as the result of the shortage of gas. In addition to householders, hotels and restaurants and a number of essential and other Jr dustries were seriously affected, and there is no indication that the position will be any better for the next few days.—P.A.
