INTERCESSION
This woman was full of good works. Acts jx. 36.
In these trying days, and while our young men are meeting the perils of battle, we thank Thee. O God, for the high place our women fill and the service they render in the quietness and privacy of the home, in the cheerful performance of daily duty in business, and in every sphere they fill. May they not be afraid of evil tidings, their hearts being fixed and trusting in the Lord, and cast all their care upon Him, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
