POLISH POSTAGE STAMPS
SPECIAL SET ISSUED Wellington, This Day. A complete set of postage stamps has been issued by the Polish Government in London for use on letters mailed at sea on board Polish warships or ships of the Polish merchant fleet. They represent the German destruction of Poland, also some of the activities of the Polish armed forces. The former represents the Rosal Castle, the Ministry of Finance, and the American Embassy in Warsaw, also the destruction of the Polish national post, Wickiewicz in Cracow. The latter represents the Polish Air Force, tanks and Polish forces in Britain, also the famous submarine Orzel.—P.A.
