A message from Detroit states that Federal Judge Picard has petitioned the State Department for permission for ex-King Carol to enter the United States from Mexico to enable Carol to testify at the trial of the three Rumanians who are charged with aiding a movement to bring Carol to the United States, where 80,000,000 dollars of Rumanian funds is frozen.—P.A.
