ITALIAN CRUISER DAMAGED
TORPEDOED BY BRITISH SUBMARINE (Rec. 9.55 a.m.) Rugby, Nov. 10. The Admiralty announced that the British submarine sighted an Italian six-inch gun cruiser off the north coast of Sicily and scored a torpedo hit. The cruiser was subsequently seen stopped with anti-submarine craft and tugs standing by.—B.O.W.
