OPENING TO-NIGHT

“HOME FROM HOME” SEASON COMEDY AT THEATRE ROYAL To-night, at the Theatre Royal, the curtain will rise on “Home from Home” a brilliant modern comedy by Muriel and Sydney Box. which will be presented by the Nelson Repertory Club. The full dress rehearsal last night was most successful and gave evidence of long and painstaking work by the producer, Mrs Moynihan. The work of all players shows pleasing polish, while the action moves with startling rapidity from one hilarious situation to another. “Home from Home” contains all the

elements of a very human first-class light comedy without unpleasant tragedy. Its appeal will be definitely universal for there are many types of life very frankly represented—imagine the free and open remarks of London evacuees in a ’ome from ’ome —and there are also two very moving scenes. The booking for Thursday and Friday is heavy so all who wish to make sure of a good seat should attend to-night. There will be about 200 seats at 2s each on sale at the door at 7.30 o'clock every one of which will enable patrons to see and hear everything. As this is the Repertory Club’s patriotic effort it is a cause well worthy of the support of all who seek a good evening's entertainment.
