BUSY DAY FOR MRS ROOSEVELT
(Rec. 11.45 a.m.) Rugby, Nov. 3. Mrs Roosevelt to-day visited wartime nurseries and the Ministry of Food. She stated subsequently that the food situation was better in Britain than she had expected it to be.
Mrs Roosevelt was entertained at luncheon at the Ministry of InformaAfterwards she visited the Houses of Parliament, where she met members of the British-American Parliamentary Committee. She was presented with two Georgean silver gravy boats to mark the occasion.—8.0. W.
