CHINESE MINISTERS VIEWS ON WAR (Rec. 11.25 a.m.) Chungking, Nov. 3. “I left America with a feeling of complete assurance in victory in the not distant f utnre.” said the Foreign Minister, Dr. T. V. Soong on his return to China. Our greatest difficulties are over and the worst period is passed.” He added that the Americans are building a great, tough, unbeatable army China had no territorial ambitions and merely desires to recover her own territory such as Manchuria and Formosa. —P.A.
