U.S. CIVILIAN CLOTHING
TIME FOR SIMPLIFICATION Washington, Oct. 22. The time has come to speed up the simplification of civilian clothing, declared the War Production chairman, Mr Donald Nelson. A new and deeper curtailment of civilian goods production was imminent. In the future essential civilian items would be scheduled exactly as military weapons were scheduled.—P.A.
