The Bishop of Nelson < Rt. Rev. P. W. Stephenson), accompanied by Mrs Stephenson, is visiting Christchurch. Mrs Theo. Norriss, Murchison, has received word that her cousins, Lieut.Colonel D. J. Fountaine, M.C., and Sergt. Ray T. Fountaine, both in the Middle East, are well. Mr A. Gould, chairman of the Nelson Harbour Board, was operated on last Monday at St. George’s Hospital, Christchurch. He is reported to be making satisfactory progress. Alfred Gould announces the following audio i sales: Wednesday next, at Spring Grove, farm property and furniture and effects; also Thursday next, at 10 Shelbourne street, furniture and effects.*
