A CTING-AIR COMMODORE
Royal New Zealand Air Force promotions just gazetted include GroupCaptain Arthur de Terrotte Neville, to be acting-air commodore. Air-Commodore Neville, who is 43, completed a -vurse of instruction at the Royal Military College, Duntroon, in 1919. He took his bachelor of science degree at Victoria University College, Wellington, in 1928. He held various staff appointments in the Royal New .Zealand Artillery until his transfer to the Royal New Zealand Air Force in 1930. He attended the Royal Air Force Staff College at Andover in 1935. In 1937 he was appointed air staff and intelligence officer at Air Headquarters and became one of the three members of the Air Board. In April last year he was appointed an honorary aide-de-camp to the then Governor-General, Lord Galway. In January' of this year he was appointed deputy-Chief of the Air Staff.
