CITY OF NELSON NOTICE OF REHEARSAL XTOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that by direction of the Central Committee. a rehearsal of all E.P.S. Units (except the Schools and Plunket Aid Units) will be held between 0800 hours on Tuesday, October 27, and 2400 hours on Saturday, October 31, 1942. To E.P.S. Members: All E.P.S. members (except members of the Schools and Plunket Aid Units) are hereby required to hold themselves in readiness to report for duty when the alarm signal is given. Steel helmets where provided are to be worn. To Members of Search Unit: Members of the Search Unit are required to report for duty on the sounding of the alarm, at the Trafalgar Square side of the Waimea County Council Offices and to hold themselves in readiness to assist the Medical Unit, or other Unit requiring help. To Householders: Householders are earnestly requested to give their full co-operation on the sounding of the alarm by filling baths, tubs and other receptacles with water, and by observing the other requirements set out in the Householders’ Handbook. Wardens of the Port, West, Brook and Wood Wards will again make an inspection of all premises and are instructed to report all cases of failure to observe the black-out regulations.
