NEW ZEALAND OFFICERS Military appointments gazetted last night include the following:— Lieutenant-Colonel J. T. Burrows, Southern Infantry, is appointed to command a battalion.
Major D. J. Fountainc. Southern Infantry, is appointed second-in-com-mand of a battalion. Major C. Langbein, New Zealand Engineers, is appointed to command an engineer and ordnance, training depot. Major H. G. Burton, Central Infantry. is appointed to command a battalion temporarily and is granted the temporary rank of lieutenant-colonel.
