ALLOWED TO RESUME WORK
ARRESTED NORWEGIAN SCHOOLTEACHERS NAZI FEAR OF ALLIED INVASION London, Aug. 10. “The Times” Stockholm correspondent says it is authoritatively reported that the majority of the 700 arrested Norwegian teachers were released and allowed to resume school work without a declaration of loyalty to the regime. The release was probably the result of German military influence which is increasing as the danger of an Allied invasion mounts, making an internal upheaval more inconvenient than ever. —P.A.
