£4O FINE IMPOSED Napier. Aug. 8. On a charge of bookmaking, James Neil Bradley. a°ed 25, was fined £4O by P> J. Miller, S.M., at Napier. Detective-Sergeant McKenzie stated that when interviewed accused admitted that he had been acting as an agent since October of last year on a commission basis of 2s in the pound. | The detective-sergeant added that ac_ j cused was in a diabetic condition of | heal'h and was in receipt of £2 a week oc : al security benefit.
