ANTI-INVASION PRECAUTIONS
TIGHTENING BY LAVAL London, Aug. 8. The Madrid correspondent of the “Daily Mail” says M. Laval is tightening anti-invasion precautions and has ordered prefects in F.e coastal zone and also in strategic centres of occupied France to attend a conference in Paris next week where the Germans will give anti-invasion instructions. French authorities will aid the Germans in fresh registration of all civilians within the invasion zone. Men will be registered individually and also in groups, each member of which is ’■esponsible for the acts of the others. -P.A.
