QUARTERS AT STOKE
NELSON’S QUOTA OF PATIENTS Fifty of the Porirua patients, with i staff, will be coming to Nelson on | Wednesday, and 50 more will come on Friday, the Medical Superintendent of the Nelson Mental Hospital (Dr. J. U. Williams) stated this morning. All would be men, he added. They would be quartered in the old main building at Stoke, which was quite comfortable. The Nelson Hospital was able to take these patients as it happened to have this accommodation available.
