GUARDSMAN (Rec. 9.20 a.m.) Rugby, Aug. 10. The British Empire Medal. Military Division, has been awarded to a Wiltshire Home Guardsman. Sergeant F. J. L. Leslie for gallantry in recovering a hand grenade which with it* safety pm removed, was dropped by a man under instruction and rolled under sona* boards in a trench.—B.O.W.
