INTERCESSION
POWER BELONGETH UNTO GOD My soul, wait thou only upon God, for my expectation is from Him. He only is my rock and my salvation. He is my high tower, I shall not be moved. Trust in Him at all times, ye people: Pour out your heart before Him: God is a refuge for us. God hath spoken once, twice have J heard this: that power belongeth unto God. Also unto Thee, O Lord, belongeth mercy: for Thou renderest to •'very man according to his work. (Psalm Ixii: sff). We pray Thee, everlasting Father, that Thou mayest put into the hearts of rulers and peoples, thoughts of peace, and direct them to Thee and the doing of Thy will as its source. Jn Thy tender mercy bring to an end the bloodshed, ruin, and distress, and make discords and wars to cease. O Thou Who didst send Thy Son to die for the world’s redemption, may men know they are not their own, but are bought with a price, that in world-brotherhood they may glorify Thee. May Thy King dom of righteousness and peace and jov be real amongst us: through Jesus Christ our Lord.
