NATIONAL COAL BOARD SCHEME
London, April 26. i The Mineworkers’ Federation has , submitted to Cabinet a scheme for a national coal board, consisting of representatives of both sides of the industry together with technical experts. The board w'ould exert complete control. even regarding the disposition of mining manpower, "irrespective of prewar interests or post-war prospects.” The federation states that the British coal output weekly will be 300.000 tons below the amount aimed at.—P.A.
