YICHY PROTEST TO U.S.A.

London, April 26. The Vichy news agency say; the Government instructed Mr Have, the Ambassador. to the United States Government against the landing of American tioops in-New Caledonia. The official Note states if the French rebels of September, 1940, seized New Caledonia the fact does not justify the landing of American troops there. Neither de Gaulle nor his representatives are in eny way qualified to speak on behalf of F ranee. —P.A.
