MEETING OF NELSON BOARD j APPLICATIONS DEALT WITH A meeting of the Nelson Land Board was attended by Messrs P. R. Wilkinson. \ Commissioner of Crown Lands (chair- i man), J. O’Regan, A. Rowling, J. j Creighton and G. L. Mead. The question of altering the dates of ’ the meetings of the Board during the j year 1942 is to be considered. Owing j to petrol restrictions it is inconvenient for some members to attend on the dates already fixed. It is suggested that the Board should rescind its resolution of 11th September 1941 so far as it relates to the months of March to December and to recommend, for the approval of the Governor-General, that Land Board meetings for those months be held on the second Wednesday in each of the months of April, June. Aug ust, October and December 1942 at 10.30 The resolution of 11th September 1941 was rescinded in so far as it relates to the months of March to December 1942 j and it was recommended that Land Board meetings be held at 10.30 a.m. on the second Wednesday of the months of April, June, August, October and December, 1942.
