“This is everybody’s war. This time the fight is to the death, and so far. as v e all know, tyranny has won. Fifteen democracies have gone down like torpedoed ships, and the first to be In- | vaded by Hitler’s slave-idea was Germany itself. “Hitler has declared that the world not large enough for both Nazism . nd democracy. He believes that the '■usy-going people of a free nation cannot compete with the force of a super-efficient dictatorship. He substitutes might for right, force for freedom. For Cod he has substituted himself and the worship of a soulless n echanical effiicency. That is the pcture of one of the two worlds in conflict as we see it to-night. What of the other?
