NELSON PROVINCIAL SCOTTISH SOCIETY
A most successful Labour Night Dance was held in the Oddfellows’ Hall by the Nelson Provincial Scottish Society. There was a large crowd present and spirited music was provided by Messrs H. Williams senior and C. Reynish. A number of competition dances were held. The ladies’ committee of the society attended to the supper arrangements in an efficient manner and Chief Stanton was secretary and M.C. The seventh Ingleside of the society will be held in the Oddfellows’ Hall with Messrs H. Williams and C. Reynish providing the music. The large attendance present last night is a good indication of the growing popularity of these gatherings.
