Wellington, This Day Jockey H N. Wiggins, who broke his right thigh when he fell off Enrich in the Shorts Handicap at Trentham on Thursday, w as operated on for the fracture 'I. a private hospital in Wellington yesterday and he is now reported to be n a king very satisfactory progress.
