fTo the Editorl Sir, —Allow me through your columns to congratulate the committee of the Motueka A. and P. Association on the great improvement shown in this year’s schedule. The stock classes are good, while the domestic and industrial sections are a real credit to their organisers. The introducing of new classes encourages competition, thereby ensuring a successful show. It’s pleasing to see our Motueka friends are catering for all classes, while some shows, leave the same halfa-adozen classes in year after year without the thought of a change. I think too it is very admirable the way the school children are allotted prize-money, for often what encouragement is it for the children if they do not receive a small reward for their fine efforts? In this way our younger folk will continue their interest in future shows. For after all the child of to-day is the adult of to-morrow. A successful show for Motueka is the w ish of. SATISFIED SHOW BUG. Richmond, 24th October.
