Inwood and J. G. Wilkin- I j son carried off the prizes, and Mr H. I i A. Holdaway was the winner of the j j ladder competition, i Following afternoon tea the Rev. H. 1 Coatsworth extended thanks to Mr and i Mrs Wratt for the privilege of holding j the party at their home. He also! thanked the Ladies’ Giuild, who were | responsible for the afternoon tea and ! other arrangements in connection with j the party. - Mr Wratt, in reply, assured all pres- i ; ent of the pleasure it had given him j ! and Mrs Wratt to welcome the church I : members and their friends, and ex- i j pressed the hope that all had enjoyed the afternoon. j Mesdames Parker and A. Goodman | had charge of the cake, produce and work stall, at which good business was done. Mesdames W. Quayle, G. Starnes and W. Reeves had in hand the afternoon tea, and Mrs L. Cowin the competitions.
