Idle on Monday because of the dismissal of a trucker, the Strongman s State Mine was idle again to-day because of some of the men taking excep•s tion to the fact that their pay had been 0 docked for time lost on the day of the e last quarterly cavil, Thursday, 10th - October. r Only shiftmen and truckers were afe fected by the docking, but their decision to return home when they rets ceived their pay dockets this morning, y disclosing that they were not paid for n time lost, idled the mine, about 150 men .- being affected. n On cavil day it is an established practice for miners to leave early and - for shiftmen and truckers to carry on n the shift.
