FLAG 500 EVENING The members and friends of the Nelson Happiness Club held another very successful Flag 500 evening in the Civic tea rooms. After many keen games the winners proved to be Mr and Mrs Prior, Mrs Scully and Mr Coker with 20£ flags. The consolation prizes were awarded to Mr and Mrs Sanazzaro, Mrs Canton and Miss Butler —minus 21 flags. The special prizes were won by Mr and Mrs Rzoska and Dir and Mrs Kincaid. The special prize was won by Mrs Burt and the travel - ling prizes were won by Mrs Parker and Mrs Ruffell. After the cards a dainty supper was served, and Mrs Annear, the president, thanked all present for making the evening so enjoyable, and hoped to see them all at the next evening in a fortnight’s time. Mrs Annear paid a special tribute to StafTSergt. Trie Allen for the great help he had been to the club.
