Wellington, This Day. The weather forecast is for strong northerly winds; weather overcast with further general rain and some heavy falls. Temperatures mild. The farther outlook is for some improvement in the week-end. Although there were several heavv showers last night only .11 of an inch of rain was recorded at the Cawthron j Institute up to 9.30 o’clock this morning. I The night was comparatively warm, the i minimum temperature being 41 degrees. To-day was overcast with several light j showers of misty rain.
