The Government associated itself with the Prime Ministe. and people of Great Britain in appreciation of the magnificent fight being made by the appropriate occasion send a suitable message, said the acting-Prime Minister (Mr Nash) in a written answer to a question in the House of Representatives yesterday afternoon. Mr H. Atmore (Independent, Nelson) had asked whether the acting-Prime Minister would consider sending a message of goodwill and congratulations to the people of Russia on their magnificent fight against the world menace of Nazism.
