MESSAGE OF GOODWILL TO RUSSIA
TO BE SENT BY GOVERNMENT (From Our Parliamentary Reporter) Wellington, This Day. The Government associated itself with the Prime Ministe. and people of Great Britain in appreciation of the magnificent fight being made by the appropriate occasion send a suitable message, said the acting-Prime Minister (Mr Nash) in a written answer to a question in the House of Representatives yesterday afternoon. Mr H. Atmore (Independent, Nelson) had asked whether the acting-Prime Minister would consider sending a message of goodwill and congratulations to the people of Russia on their magnificent fight against the world menace of Nazism.
