LATEST FIGURES RELEASED Receipts totalling £2.2(59,2150 are [shown in the latest figures released by the National Savings Committee. Of this sum £936,585 has been received from the sale of National Savings bonds and £1.332.675 represents deposits in National Savings accounts. The high level of receipts reached in June (£109,000 a week) has been well maintained and during the first week in July £130,500 was received. The objective of the National Savings Committee is 250,000 National Savings accounts; and the number now opened is 187,000.—P.A.
