WORKER WHO MADE HISTORY Rugby, July 27. Among munition workers who witnessed to-day the handing over of the Crusader tank to the armoured forces was Mr J. Ashton, who helped to make I the first tank ever used in battle. The I ceremony took place when Major Anl drew Bolt, who recently gave £IO,OOO j to the Minister of Supply for the pur- : chase of a tank, affixed his name to one of the famous Crusaders which had just come off the assembly line. — 8.0.
